Ana Alexandra Ribeiro Coutinho De Oliveira

Ana Alexandra Ribeiro Coutinho de Oliveira (b. 1967) is an agricultural engineer with a master’s and PhD in Viticulture. She is a Assistant Professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), a member of CITAB, and has supervised approximately 100 interns and master’s students. She teaches various courses in Viticulture and has participated in 20 research projects, with around 100 publications and two patents. She has organised scientific events and held academic management positions. Her research focuses on vinicultural production, including grapevine varieties, cultural practices, climate change impact, and technological innovation. She served as the Head of the Department of Agronomy (2021–2023) and is actively involved in several viticultural organizations. In addition to her role as a professor and researcher in Viticulture, she is an expert in Viticulture for the CNOIV-OIV group, a member of the Fiscal Council of PORVID, and a representative of the Research, Development, and Innovation (IDI) entity at Comissão Vitivinícola Regional de Trás-os-Montes (CVRTM).
