Our conference inspired the creation of the Special Issue ” Benefits of the Mediterranean Diet–Wine Association: Role of Components” in Molecules (IF 3.060; ISSN 1420-3049), having as Special Issue Editors Prof. Dr. Paula Silva and Prof. Dr. Norbert Latruffe. Molecules is fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Main, but not exclusive, subjects to be dealt with polyphenols, resveratrol, aging, antioxidant, wine, health, Mediterranean diet, nutrition, diseases, welfare and behavior at the level of mechanisms, analysis, experimental and epidemiological studies will be accepted. Everyone is invited to participate in this new Special Issue by submitting a contribution, either an original research article, a short communication or a specialized critical review, although in this latter case the subject must be previously agreed, to prevent possible overlapping. The submission deadline is 30 September 2020. For further information, please visit: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/molecules/special_issues/wine_diet_benefit
